Schau 'mal in das Handbuch (siehe Link weiter unten) Seite 2-23: "The Promise PDC20378 controller does not support ATAPI devices such as CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, etc." USB und FW geht auch, allerdings hab ich derzeit nur ein Gehäuse, und der Oxford Chip darin schafft nicht zuverlässig 16x Brenngeschwindigkeit.

RAID Hard disk, Promise FastTrak 378, K8V SE Asus-MoBo.
The Promise controllers tend to be better supported than other ATA RAID variants, but FreeBSD has to rely on the RAID metadata stored on the disk. BIOS vendors are free to change the metadata format, and obviously FreeBSD has no way of knowing whether a given system is using one of these custom formats.
